I like the Winchester Fast Dove.
Got a case shipped to my house from Mack’s for $120.
$12 a box for winchester.... bold move.
I was able to find Rio's for $106 after shipping to my door. But most of what I found was over $140 to the door.

The cheapest ones
I used to do this. I’d just buy a flat of shurshot heavy dove. Til last year on a crisp October morning. We had cut one last hay field and a good cold front moved in that weekend. Got into the thick of the birds that morning and I had a box of malformed shells that would fire but not eject. Still had a good time but when we had our biggest groups landing our heads my gun jammed multiple times due to shitty cheap shells.

Sucks you got a bad batch. I’d give them a call. This is what I usually use.
I doubt they were the cheapest shells available though.

Last year a bought a couple cases of the academy brand Monarch 20g. I believe a company makes these for several companies and they just lable as their own. Good speed labeled 1300+ fps. We went to South Texas and twice and maybe had a couple times the shell was hard to pump out. We just shoot plain old 870's. I was pleased and will be shooting these same shells this year.

I’ve always found I’ve had the best luck with Rios and Federal.
