it wasnt an option for mine either. The blackjack has the hull extended a foot on either side of the motor for extra flotation to hold the 250hp and up. Ive seen Blazer bay 22' will a 225hp not sure if it was factory approved
a 200 sho is a beast on the 2104 hull though. Whodat has one

Honestly buy a 1 to 2 year old boat. You will be surprised how many come up for sale by people that kept them in storage or in a garage but had dreams of fishing every weekend. They use them 3 or 4 times and they just sit. Let them take the rapid depreciation hit.
If you have your financing ready you can grab one pretty quick. Blue Wave, Bay Stealth, Xpress, Triton, etc... you can find whatever you decide to get. I had an 18' Bay Stealth and now have a 22' Bay Stealth and have been happy with them.
Good luck.

Yes it is. It’s a different animal then the regular 200. I wouldn’t own this hull with a 150. Although it would push it fine the extra hp is nice for loads. I ran 58 yesterday with half tank, 3 guys and a fishing load.
Like others said max the hp out. And get exactly what you want so you don’t have regrets.
FWIW had a guy i was helping today with a nautic star 244 xts tell me he really likes the frontier and the layout and room over his. He said he wishes they made a bigger one or he would have one.

Just saw a 23 cape bay yesterday. It was a fine looking boat. Seems like it could be on this list. Not sure their reviews
