Ended up buying them from a guy who makes them in Springfield. Really impressed with the quality.

Hey I wouldn't mind some technique advice as well. I usually put 5-ish circle traps down in places south of Empire and am not yet satisfied with my catch. I bait them with raw chicken drums. How often do you check them, etc?

There is a guy on 603 right before you get in town on the east side of the highway that makes/sells traps. Cant remember his name but you can see his building from the road

Canvas- they were traps. My brother in law bought some nets from a dude in Houma recently that he loves.

I use a perch head and a piece of turkey neck. Fish attract them, Turkey keeps them there. Check them 3 times an hour or so. If it's cold, twice an hour. Put them in the wind blown side of whatever body of water you fishing. If the wind is owing right to left, you would put them on the left side.

I'm going buy a case of turkey necks in a little while. $20 for a 30lb box.
