I am yet to figure out how to keep fluoro from backlashing. I like fishing it but spend a lot of time digging out backlashes with fluoro for some reason.
I get backlashes and it seems to cut as a result. Have get split lines in my reel a lot when using Fluro. Any suggestions?

I have the Transoptic on a few of my reels right now. It definitely gets orange in the sunlight. You can take one reel outside for a little while and bring it back in and place it next to the other and there's a big difference. I just don't know if it changes visibility underwater. I use a flouro leader, so it doesn't really matter. Does help with visibility of your line though.

Use Seaguar. KVD line conditioner also helps.

Lets say I was going to give Fluoro another chance as leader material only even though as a product it sucks in every way and is the worst outdoor product ever made by mankind...what should I get for crappie jig fishing when using 6lb mono main line and bass fishing when using 12lb mono main line?
Going this weekend. I will have 4lb main line. I have 4lb and 8lb fluoro I can use as leader. Will the 8lb fluoro still be less visable than the 4lb mono main line?
