I can load a four wheeler in my truck in a couple of minutes and be ready to go. They also tend to get stuck less. SxS is more comfortable of course, but I just like riding 4 wheelers.

The bed is pretty useful, but I've managed well with a basket rack on my 4 wheelers

Eta: You'll also pay double for a SxS

Side by Side, but it depends on what you use it for.

We have a Polaris Ranger Crew, and it's great because we can fit up to 6 adults in the cab and our gear in the back. However, a con is that it's not great on narrow trails and doesn't have a ton of maneuverability in thick woods, and price is definitely higher than a 4 wheeler.

Yea Feral ive had both. Like my old Honda 4 wheeler now...tried and true. Price is a huge swing between the 2 now. Guy in town has 24k invested in a SXS, thats money gone you'll never see again.

I prefer a four wheeler, as I can get more places with it. Being old and lazy now, I prefer to be able to ride right up to a downed deer to bring it back to camp.

I have a midsized Ranger. It's like 6-8 inches wider than a 4 wheeler.

Never had any problems getting to where I wanted to go in it. Have had to pull out bigger sxs after they got stuck.

i bought a bad boy buggy used this season. best decision I ever made. its quiet and powerful. don't get me wrong there are some mud holes I just don't go thru. but if you have half as decent roads that's the ticket. did I mention its quiet!

I SWORE I would never get a SxS until I rolled a 4 wheeler in a washout filling a protein feeder...with my 6 year old.

Never again.

I got a Kubota 400 RTV- fits in the back of a half ton short bed, narrow enough go on a 4 wheeler trail. Plus, I can carry 6 bags of feed and whatever else I need.

I'm surprised at its off road capability. It's surely not a big mud machine, but I've used it all season long and haven't been close to being stuck.

One day when I have a lot of money I'm going to spend $23,000 on a fricking bench seat with square container attached to the back.

Ranger 800XP is what I have. I love it, it's a workhorse. Never any problem with it until last month and damn transmission went down on me.
