Problem is people buy a souped upV6 thinking that they will have 8cylinder performance. WRONG!!!! No matter how many turbos you put on a v6, it's still a v6. If you want power buy a V8...

I'd go with a supercharger first, not turbos.
Turbos run at such a high temp bad things happen.

Turbos are much more reliable than superchargers. So simple.

soo much wrong with this post its ridiculous.
lets see most diesel engines run turbos and these are big engines
like ships, heavy equipment, hell anything that needs alot of torque.
superchargers are pointless. they limit the power right off the bat. they take 30% of the power they make to just run the charger.
turbos can make as much power as the motor can handle.
hell i just sold my 240 sx 4cyclinder that had 500 hp and still got 24 miles to the gallon, when not in boost.
Posted on 5/24/13 at 2:26 pm to brbowhunter
The part about superchargers I like is that they make more off ilde power, and don't need to wind up to make their power.

An 800hp cummins is STILL just a straight six. It's not even a v6. What kinda weak shite is that???
Posted on 5/24/13 at 2:31 pm to upgrade
Superchargers are good. They don't lag.
Turbos are awesome though. I love em.

6 liter 12 cylinder > 38 liter 10 cylinder

C'mon guys...we all know rotary engines are the way to go
Posted on 5/24/13 at 2:38 pm to DownshiftAndFloorIt
I dunno, I was keeping up with you for a second, but I don't know shite about no 38 liter engines
