I prefer enigma rods
I ended up with one when I bought a mixed lot of rods off BBC. I bought the lot for the Ark rods, but the Enigma might be my favorite.

Something I’ve learned the hard way as I have tried more brands and rods, there are good ones and bad ones in every line. Matt from tactical bassin does a good job not selling out to any one brand or model line and by now has reviewed 15+ rods for any given technique over the years. I went and looked and he will flip flop between suggesting glass, composite, or graphite for cranking but for him it’s about the specific rod and how it performs vs the material.

Had to bring the Merc in this morning for the trim bolt recall. I also showed them my loose trim and turns out I waited too long to report it

My dealership checked mine out and said it was fine. So far no issues but still crossing my fingers

I do not doubt that at all.

Right now, my bass lineup(I really am just now getting back to bass) consists of Loomis/St. Croix/Ark/Enigma/Cabela's/Halo.

HFX 7' medium. It has Lee Livesay's name on it. There's a "II" version now, so these were like 30% off.

I put a brand new Curado K on it this morning with some 10LB mono. Looking forward to the weekend.

How'd it do?

I was 9nly able to make a short trip. Weather change was terrible, and I normally don't even go out on a day like Saturday. I got no bites using the combo, but it was a pleasure to fish with. Very happy so far.
