The M110 is being replaced with an HK 417 variant.

PSA has that one, too.

I've had the HK and the SIG 716 .... both are too heavy for the average LARPer.

A lot of the SpecOps and Contractor guys have gotten away from piston driven guns.

Gas impingement is making a comeback for a lot of reasons. Don't get me wrong, I love my MCXs, but these M110 SASS clones are the whoop for the money.

I wish they made a model like this in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Kac makes a 6.5 creedmoor m110, or at least an upper for it and slight replacement kit on the stock, with the law folder + b5 collapsible. Psa also offers the sabre in 6.5, but not in the 22" m110a3 length.

Ya, I like HK417 clone. That's what I want. If I want to stretch it out, Id just break out the bolt gun.

A few years ago Brownells had some HK416 stripped lowers. I was an idiot and didn't buy one. At the time you could have basically built real HK416 with parts but they aren't available to do now, that I know of...

They aren’t as far as I’m aware. But that role mark is worth a lot in the minds of the public.

I shot one of those at The Gathering. Big difference, imho, is the stock and the 5r pipe which is supposed to make a ton of difference both in LR accuracy and barrel life.

I dunno. My stupid arse will probably end-up with one eventually even though my next investment is going-to-be an MRAD in 300 PRC.

ETA: And I should qualify that with; I went through Sniper School at Bragg and graduated with an M21 in the late 70s before they consolidated the schools at Benning.

I own an M21 today .... complete Camp Perry accessorized Art Cavanaugh build.

Then I moved up to a Rem 700 5rc bolty.

Then I competed with a Savage 10FP LE which was, by far, the most accurate out of the box stick I've ever owned.

But now I'm older, empty nester with some money and .... these PSA guns are fine.

But I always wanted a B82A1 ... thankfully I waited for the MRAD.

But I'll say it again, for the money, these PSA Sabre M110 SASS clones are excellent.

How do you think the accuracy of the PSA Gen 3 and the SASS clone stack up? The SASS has a match grade barrel. I was looking at the .308 and the SASS is at least $500 more.

ETA: Blemished GEN 3 is $820 bucks and a forged SASS is $1550. So almost double for a match grade barrel and the furniture.

I finally took it out to the range last Tuesday. Instant love.

It was kind of sporadic for the first couple of rounds, but the grouping tighten up pretty well after going through 2 boxes (40 rounds).

Nice, I just got a PSA Rock, they make really good products. Enjoy your M110. I was looking yesterday, their "Freedom Week" deals this week are insane on many items. Might have to pick up a SBR in 300 blackout...

Well PSA released a 6.5 Sabre, but they put a stupid 14.5" barrel on it.
