False. A few of us fishing for about 4 hours Friday and Saturday morning, and we came home with about 20 lbs of trout fillets. Lots of 2 lb'ers hit the cooler. Fish were close enough that we never got our feet wet.
ETA: added pics. For reference, the two black drum in the second pic are about 20" and the smallest trout in each pic is about 14".
