Does the avg home intruder wear a vest?

If you read what I posted, he took one in the vest which the vest stopped.

He took one to the face by a 9mm. 95% on here assume your shoot someone in the face and he’s dead.

That’s just not always the case.

ETA, he told me that it was a beretta 92fs so a full-size with full length barrel.

I just ordered a new stock for my old youth 870 20g magnum so I can use it for a home protection gun. All shots in my house will be 10yds max so it will be loaded with 6shot high brass. Say what you will but at 10yds it will just about take a doe head clean off, I know from experience. Add to that the layout of the house isnt conducive for using buckshot or a AR.

Anyone just consider buying a good set of locks for the house? Maybe an alarm system?

Yea I have a 100lb doberman as well, 99.999% of intruders are running from him much less going to get past him.
