What do you use for the gut hook area? Ive an electric workshop sharpener I use to sharpen the blades.

I use a round butcher style diamond rod and a butcher style round honing steel. Its a pain in the arse to get a good edge but it works. Its enough of a pain in the arse that I just quit using gut hooks all together.

I don’t kill enough deer to ever dull a gut hook, lol.

I have a Wyoming knife my dad gave me.
I would just replace the blades.
Now I see I'm out of blades and there is a temp pause in production it looks like as it may have changed hands...
Going to try to sharpen this one with a round file I have

Folding razor knife. Then get some carpet hooks.
Works wonders on the swine.

I use a box cutter with curved carpet blades. Super cheap, flip after one, swap after two.

Yep. But there is no way to buy them. No add to cart.
Retailers say discontinued or out of stock.
A website said I may have to wait till April. I love this Knife. Especially special since dad passed a few months ago. Just cleaned his grandsons first deer with it.
