If you want a wheat ale, just go with Canebrake. It's average as well, but at least it is local

Canebrake is made from Sugar cane and the tastes aren't even comparable. 312 is a good tasting Wheat Ale.

Southern Tier Live is a easy drinking beer for this time of year. Southern Tier just started distributing to LA, so it should be found rather easily.

I know, but it is still a wheat ale

and I know the tastes are not comparable because Canebrake is actually decent, while 312 tastes like Blue Moon.

I alternate between Canebrake and Magic Hat No. 9.

Parrish Brewing also has a brew called Envie which is pretty tasty.

Good amber beer, and nice in the can. Not much on the blonde.

I like Heineken Light. Tastes nothing like Heineken. That Dixie is some good shite as well.
