I just had 5250 rd.(10 525rd. bulk boxes) of Rem. Golden bullets delivered to my door for $264 total

Is this the new normal? Because if so it sucks.

Back in 1999 I got a case of 5000 Federals for $75.00. Sure, it was a closeout sale, but not long ago you could get Federal or Winchester 550 boxes for less than $10.00 each at Wally World.

Like others here, I haven't seen a 550 round box in nearly two years, other than the $65 ones at gun shows.

you can expect them to stay around .05 to.06 per round at the cheapest and maybe higher in the future...supply is catching up with the demand slowly...but just like with gas prices, people are used to paying more and will just accept the new low mark...

For the life of me I can't figure out what's going on with this. Not too long ago you could get a box of 50 Rem's at Wallyworld for about $3.

You can still get it for 6 to 7 cents a round.

Two weeks ago:

The following item(s) have shipped:
Item# Qty Description Price
412491 1 REMINGTON .22 LONG RIFLE RIMFIRE AMMUNITION $24.99
420349 1 FEDERAL PREMIUM 22 LR CHAMPION AMMUNITION $24.99
443265 5 FEDERAL PREMIUM CHAMPION TARGET AMMO, .22 LR, 40-GR., LRN $12.45
764259 1 REMINGTON THUNDERBOLT RIMFIRE AMMO, .22 LR, 40-GR., LRN $24.99

No tax, no shipping... that's $2.49 a 50 pack and $25 a brick. It's still out there

I wish you people would say where you are buying it instead of spouting off these awesome prices which lead me nowhere.

I have mentioned slickguns over and over. Even started a thread about it awhile back.

Next decade its going to be $600 for 5000 rounds. That is why I don't get the people who just buy 1 box at a time. shite is never getting cheaper. In the entire history of ammo sales, it has never gotten cheaper except for temporary spikes due to elections/politics.

I need to get these slickguns emails then. Sounds like that is where the action is at.

Gander Mountain generally has good deals on .22LR, however you have to be quick because as soon as it's in it flies off the shelf.

.089 cpr you are asking isn't really jerking anyone around ...especially anyone that is too lazy to do their homework or too rich to care...you could probably get a lot more on GB

My brother only wanted 5 bricks of those golden bullets I previously mentioned at .06cpr...so now I'm up to close to 27k on .22lr...

the only thing pricey out there is CCI minimags...$8.49 per 100 (.085cpr)

I don't flip ammo...Me and my kids shoot it... A LOT...

but I'd be willing to let some of the what I deem lower quality stuff go for the prices you are asking in order to buy some more CCI tactical, Mini Mag or some Wolf target(Pricey)...
