100% agree with Beaux Man - very solid family vehicle.

2022 & 2023 have a lightly updated interior - giving it an overall better look, but still a no-frills setup. It does get better gas mileage than I expected. Requires premium gas, just an FYI.

If you can find one and budget allows, Lexus Certified Pre-owned would be ideal.

In the Laffy area? My cousins own the Acura and Infiniti dealerships in Laffy. Let me know if you find something.

Wish it was part time 4x4 rather than AWD but that’s only possible flaw I could find in it.

How is this a flaw?

We bought one earlier this year CPO. It was low mileage, but they’re still very proud of them. Likely overpaid but I know that my family will not be broken down in the near future, unlike her Pathfinder.

Look at the 22-23 model as those have CarPlay if that matters to you. Better infotainment system as well. 4.6L V8 is same as Tundra since about 2000’s, so tried and true. I aim to keep this car for a hell of a long time.

That range is fine for that vehicle w/o any known issues going on. it will go to 250-300 easily.

Only reason I’d call full time 4wd a flaw is I live in the south and snow/sleet is so uncommon as to be almost a non factor. I’d rather have a part time transfer case and only use 4wd when I need it which is almost never. Fuel mileage would improve slightly as well as less wear on front axle components and tires

We have a 2020 with 120,000 miles.

Wife drives it every day. Gets about 19.8 mpg with her driving an hour commute each morning.

Tech is outdated, but not cumbersome.

Comfort, towing, offroad abilities (if you need that) and general style are all great.

We have put one set of tires on it, and just did the factory brakes at 118,000 miles.

I used to work in Africa- it’s the Land Cruiser Prado platform and we couldn’t kill them there, so that’s what she drives here.

He’s had a sienna and would drive another in a heartbeat. Was a great ride with young kids but they are grown and gone now.
Can an amateur change; water pump, alternator, brakes?

I mean I probably wouldnt buy one with 150k on it... Mainly because I put 150k on every vehicle in the first 2-3 years.

But it depends on the miles. A vehicle that has done all highway miles for 200k has a lot less wear and tear on it than a city car with 30k.

I buy all my vehicles with at least 100k miles on them and maintenance records. Wife gets new stuff. Hers always end up needing repairs, mine don't.

Spending your best years stuck in a vehicle is not worth bragging about

Living 41 miles from everything is well worth knowing exactly how far away the nearest criminal element is.

My doors are unlocked. My keys are in the console of my truck. The overly expensive sxs has the key in the ignition.

Wait, are you my alter?

My wife and I both drive an hour for work.

But we live in a place where our GSP can run free, our oldest is 15 minutes away from the boat launch to hunt ducks, and he can still come home from Tulane every weekend if he wants.

We have a 2016, (2) 2018, and a 2016 Land Cruiser Prado.

They’re all great little tanks and I wouldn’t want my wife or kids driving anything different.

The Prado is in Peru and has a 5 spd, 275 mud terrains with no lift, and a winch. I can take it anywhere, I love that car

My wife has had two. They share parts with the 5th gen 4Runner and the V8 is one of the best engines ever made, so it’s obviously reliable and plenty of parts available.

One issue they’re known for is valley plate leak - usually after 120k.

Surprisingly if you drive normal it gets better mpg than listed. We got 22mpg on the interstate today.

With proper service history they are a solid buy, they do suffer from poorly sealed electrical sensors and connectors. Exposed connections at the wheels and under the chassis get moisture inside them and start causing intermittent system faults at low miles by corroding the internal wiring pins. Especially a problem where roads are salted. Little silicone grease goes a long way too.
