Wow, J Lee might be the nail in the coffin. They could have at least sold it as being the young man’s league with him headlining. Does ESPN pull the plug?

All fo them left the Elite Series. The FLW did not have as many names but lost most of them except Martin and Dudley and Im not sure either of them were invited

I wouldn’t say it’s a sad day. Sounds like the BPT will be better for the anglers and the coverage will also be better for the viewer. Yea the BPT doesn’t have “The Classic”, but what really makes “The Classic” so special? IMO it’s the guys fishing in the tournament more than the tournament itself.

Will be real interested to see Jason Lambert vs the former elite series guys on the Tennessee River lakes. He looked to be in a class by himself ledge fishing there in FLW.

That’s crazy if true. The Nielsen ratings for MLF on CBS show a high of about 1.1 million viewers.

Scott gets 750K viewers with a go pro and a chest mount for an FLW event. Several of his videos are into the millions. Basically, on any given day he can churn out content that reaches viewership on par with a professionally produced TV show on a major network.

Yep. I was really surprised they left, they have been mainstays on the FLW for so long. The BPT really does have the best of the best. Gonna be fun to watch.

Yea, I totally get that but the Elite Series got raped. Im not sure the FLW was as deep with invites. Im not surprised at Andy at all. He has never really been in love with FLW.

Here is the final Elite series standings this year and everyone who has moved with a few spots left to leave. Savage

Thanks for that graphic. Yeah, BASS is going to have to reach wayyy down the opens list to fill their 80 spots.

Might be harder for them to find marshalls too

The BassFan tracker shows BMP, Connell, and Ish as some of the latest to announce BPT.

There’s 2 spots left to announce. Ike has to be BPT now. Elite series is dead now. I would love to be a fly on the wall in BASS HQ right now.

Zona and Zaldain are talking about it all live right now.

I think they're both in a little bit of denial mode at the moment.

I like having all the top guys competing in one association that has tiers. I also like a consistent coverage. BASS when heavy on the online viewership for their tournaments and slacked off on the tv coverage. They kinda lost me there.
