Killing a deer that size will make anyone strangely aroused...baw is just sitting with himself and processing the feeling

Meh, I’ve seen better deer in the quad…

Seriously, that’s a hell of a buck. Public land? X2 impressive. Well done, sir.

Since everyone finally started being strict on managing herds Louisiana has been showing out.

Our local outdoor writer in Area 2 Glenn Harris said he had to raise his stories to 150" + deer because he was getting too many 140's .

It's good to see

An antler restriction north of the interstate wouldn't hurt my feelings. Or north of BR.

Just about everything north of 10 and east of 49 has potential to produce really good deer. And a lot of good deer are produce all throughout that area in pockets that manage for age. A lot of time it doesn't make the news to but they are out there.

With baiting, trail cameras, and long gun seasons, hunters will have the opportunity to kill every buck in Louisiana. The deer management part of it is easy. The people management part is hard.
