I don't know what is about those baits, but I agree you tend to catch a lot bigger fish with them. Especially if you put a swim bait on them. I have had some success doing the same with a spinner bait except I leave the skirt on.

Oh yea, and I had to go buy a container from walmart to throw all my extra bags of soft plastics in. I'm a few bags away from needing another one now too

i only have a few more packs of deer meet, i need to get to our place in texas and shoot an axis deer asap, i don't have any fish either, i need to get with my uncle, i'm sure he'll be spearfishing soon!

We have a shitload of deer meat. I have about 6lbs of ground meat from 2 seasons ago and a bunch of fresh sausage left, and now we have 5 deer worth of ground meat, smoked and fresh sausage, and a few roasts, and all the backstrap and tenderloin left.
Running low on fish though. I think we have 3 quarts of bass/bream and a few redfish filets. We finished off all the specks from the 2 trips this winter already.
