Not quite as ugly as the Raptor.

Still a Dodge though.

Why couldn't they just admit that this is designed to compete against the Raptor? Everyone is thinking it. Just admit it...

And this is coming from a GM truck man.

Tailgate is awful. I could live with the grill...but this is not a truck I would ever buy. I don't see the point of it - it's not quite a large enough departure from an air ride equipped Big Horn with 33" A/T's.

ETA: This is NOT a Raptor competitor; Ram CEO said it himself. He said its more aimed at Toyota's Tundra TRD Pro. Ram has the RamRunner kit for Raptor fighting.

Good grief, that is bad.

Way too much black plastic.

Idk, they just could've done way better.

Raptor looks better, but at least this one isn't as useless of a truck.

BTW, Chrysler / Fiat is doing all these specialty vehicles (Rebel, Hellcat) because they are behind the curve on true product development. Stuff like this is relatively easy for the to do.

Uh, no.

Ram released their big mid cycle refresh updates last year - air ride, grill shutters, 8 speed trans, ecodiesel, etc. Other brand's are now doing the same. The Hellcat was a result of "product development", that entire powertrain was built from near scratch for 2014 model year.

Stop discussing Ram in a thread about Rams? Feel free to not read it, no one is making you.

They kind of can't once they said this.

Ford could sell some 2wd raptors. A guy I work with will buy a next-gen raptor and has said several times there's no way he'll ever put it in four wheel drive. He just wants one "because they are badass"

It would be cool if something built more like a street legal trophy truck was out there. I'd never buy one, but it would be badass.
