That's what I'm thinking.... I would much rather a custom rod over a knife.

Trying to keep it under 3-400 per groom. They would use a knife more then rod.

Besides hunting? Football is probably it.

I do a lot of outdoor stuff, I rarely use a knife. And if I needed one I wouldnt use one that I got as a gift.
If you trying to keep it under 300 and they hunt, buy them all a 10/22.

Polar Bear coolers are awesome softsides but nowhere near the price of the Yeti. $80 each. More if you want them personalized.
Benchmade knives are great. The bugout if you want an EDC (approx. $130)
or the steep country for a fixed blade
I've also received an engraved pitcher and mugs for beer drinking as well as a ship in a bottle whiskey decanter
As a rule, stick to drinking and hunting.
If you want some fishing recs, a shimano slx reel is a helluva reel for $100 regardless if they bass or marsh fish.

I agree with wickowick.
The best gift to give groomsmen is to invite them to the wedding and when they show up jump in the truck and go fishing for a few days and forget getting married.
They'll have a blast fishing. The married ones will understand completely. AND you'll be available in the future for other trips to be a friend with them.

Duck hunters? Get them custom engraved duck calls. Those can get elaborate with exotic woods...

An oriental massage with a happy ending.

I gave polar bear coolers. They’re still getting used 5-6 years later. I got some that haven’t been used 1x.

If legal in your state , automatic knives would be the bomb

What kind of budget.
These Ridge minimal wallets you see everywhere are pretty cool.

I got one and I vote this. LSU duck call with initials on it. Best one I've received by far.

My favorite groomsman gift was a leather monogrammed paperweight. If they're the "outdoorsman on the weekend, but work in an office all week" type, they'll probably appreciate something like that. It just has that outdoorsy feel because it's a leather beanbag. If they're the "spend so much time in the marsh they have webbed feet" type of outdoorsman, maybe they don't have enough papers to use a leather beanbag.
