New semi auto shotgun mag capacity less than 3?

Ok I’m old and out of touch but I’m looking at a desired 20 gauge semi auto shotgun specs telling me the magazine capacity is 2 or 2+1? I’ve never known a semi auto shotgun that was less than 3 and some 3+1. What is this about and is it a good or bad thing?

Mag is normally limited to only 2 by using a “plug” piece of plastic to only let two go in the mag to meet federal regulations for migratory bird hunting.
If you take the plug out and don’t plan on hunting migratory birds you can get sometimes as many as 5 in the mag depending on manufacturer.

What are you looking at? Ive noticed that with a few 20 gauges as well. Been wanting a youth model to squirrel hunt with.
