On the rainer site, would you get any of the stripped lowers on page two that are under 200?

Have a cousin that has an old colt ar with the solid stock, carry handle and triagular foregrip. Said he shot it a few times and would sell for $1200. Apparently these have some vintage appeal. From what I gather that may be a fair price.
I am goin to look at it again this weekend. Any thoughts as to the details I should look for?

The problem with building an AR-10 is that the parts are not as interchangeable as they are with the AR-15/4. Some manufacturers parts won't work with others, but I'm not sure about whose works with whose. You pretty much have to buy all the same parts, not whatever you happen to find.

Looks good inthe pic but no discription I could see, call them to make sure it is aluminum and forged
