Couldn’t take it any more. Ordered the SLR B30 Builders kit in patriot brown. Went with the 16” hand guard and I’m thinking I’ll do 18” barrel on this one with a LPVO.

I have a 1-8 on my AR-10 in .308. I like it alot.
Local gun store has a Nemo Omen .300 win mag.
Would love to have that but I'd rather have a thermal 1st.

Anyone ever used a Tri-arc 556 barrel? They're supposed to have some kind of special rifling like Glock uses and be extremely accurate.

Man that thing looks awesome.
I haven’t used a triarc barrel but I’ve heard good things. I know BSF makes some good stuff if you’re looking for a nicer barrel

they're really good. the fancy rifling is fine and all, but I love them because they're perfectly gassed. So many manufacturers drill oversized gas ports in their barrels because every gun has to run every type of ammo or else it's trash these days. Triarcs dont do that

Most recent project will be Centurion’s take on a 2021 version of a 28th EOD FSP carbine. Currently deciding on the barrel. As much as it pains me to say, the 10.3 DD FSP is highest on my list since there aren’t many true 10.3 FSP barrels out there?
Besides Colt, anyone else I should be looking at?

I've had great results with C-Products magazines.
ASC are not something I would recommend.

Broke down and got a Criterion chrome barrel. Hope it's all it cracks up to be. Will take 2 months to get it shipped.
Ended up choosing it over a Tri-arc because of the supposed extra longevity.

I have several Criterion barrels. They are very, very good barrels. One is on my latest build. Bought it with a head spaced bcg. Mine is the hybrid. Would like to get a core for my new build but it’s 4-6 month lead time
