Thanks Finch, you have me wanting a handguard that's out of stock. I just bought a 10.5 300 Blackout upper that would look awesome on.

Test drove a 16" white oak SPR today. Ultra fine upper. I think with a decent trigger and a decent operator it'd be a MOA or better upper. Was shooting 2" groups with 855 and 1.5" or so with match .223 ammo.

Needs a muffler and a better lower and a better scope.

That’s a new one to me. Never heard of White Oak.

Though there are probably lots in the AR sector I’ve never heard of.

Took my new rifle (Wilson billet set with mostly Wilson components s) y-day to the range. It shot very well. I was impressed. Just shooting with a read dot I was getting 2” group at 50yds with crappy ammo.

Painting it currently and will slap the thermal on it and it will be my new hunting rig.

Supposedly top notch uppers. Liked that one alot, but it's pretty heavy for a 16" barrel.

White Oak Armament caters mostly to NRA High Power Competition Rifles. Good stuff!

Right. Supposedly super popular with the competition dudes.

This was a brand new 16" SPR complete upper. They have some sweet looking thinner profile 18" with a longer gas system. I have much want for it.

Anyone happen to have an Aero Precision BAR barrel nut they're willing to part with? Or perhaps an Aero Enhanced upper?

A couple I am adding to. Top one is an FN M4 carbine with an Aimpoint/Wilcox ECOS-N mount and an M962 light. The second is an attempt at a MK18 Mod 0 CQBR set up like the one I was issued while forward deployed with NCIS.

a MK18 Block II has got to be one of the sexiest GWOT weapons there is.

Sorry, don’t have one. Have you called them?

Aero has created the reputation that they work on stuff when they want to... and that's never.

Must be nice. How do they pay their bills? I'll call Monday. There is a replacement nut available but it's $80

My issued weapon obviously didn’t have the suppressor but that is a GI Knights Armament suppressor I had so I stuck it on there.

Not that I need one, but I’ve seen plenty of people asking about those.

Honestly, I’d be on the look out for the enhanced upper instead of the barrel nut because the barrel nut requires it to be timed correctly.

It looks like a Surefire RC2.

It probably is. It actually doesn’t have a manufacturer listed on it and I have had the thing for years. I traded a buddy a working Harris PEQ2 for it several years ago and he said it was a KAC. I’m not a big suppressor guy myself.

Looking at it closer you can see where a very faint lay line was that says SOCOM RC2. Good catch and thanks for that. I really had no clue.

The enhanced uppers seem to be out of stock also

For those interested, the PSA Saber Claw 2 stage trigger is EXCELLENT, especially at its price point.

If you like 2 stage triggers, do it.
