From the reporter riding with Michael Iaconelli today, he just reported this minutes ago:
One of the interesting things he said this morning:
"I really believe I've located the group of winning fish," he said.
Iaconelli doesn't plan to visit them today, instead using the day for a final rehearsal, making sure of his run, shortcuts, fuel stops, basically his game plan and time management are spot on.
"Today is a day for me I'm not even going to make a cast," he said. "If I make a cast today, I'll be surprised.
"I found an area in the practice ... I don't want to even get near it. I think there's a group of fish that live there and I've just got to figure them out."
Can never count him out. IMO he's the second best fisherman out there behind KVD.

I went to the meeting last night and it looks like parking will be extremely tight, especially in and around the service yard. Even though we have parking passes, they encouraged the workers to try and park somewhere else down the street or carpool. They didn't know much about the college tournament because I believe you guys are being covered by a different group of people. As of now, only the pros will be allowed to pull their rigs into the service yard.

Guess you missed my "water rage" HELL NO IT'S NOT GOING TO BE ON TV -- it will, but not until next weekend because of soccer.
There will be other coverage, on the internet that is, but I think it is time for them to move away from ESPN2 and go to another affiliate because it also looks like the coverage on TV will be way down from the past, besides being delayed.
you had to get me started ... again

Well, he must have surprised himself, because I saw him fishing. Was a marshal today for federation nation qualifier Dave Watson and Ike stopped about 200 yards from us and fished a point for about 15 minutes.

Where is he fishing? Around Venice?

Right before the season ended DishNetwork cut off my service because they said I owed them $10 that I didnt. It erased everything I had taped for the whole year, including the Bassmasters.
They apologized and offered a lot of free shite but i told them to stick it in their arse and switched to DirecTV.
First year I missed the season in as long as I can remember.

Great quote from Cliff Pace: "This Delta is a constantly changing place, so to truly know it, you have to fish here continuously," Pace said. "Sometimes you can trick yourself into thinking you know more than you do. That's easy to do when you are comfortable with a place. I think you can overlook the subtleties. The area itself won't change as much, but the subtleties change and the fish change with it."
Meanwhile, Ike now says he and about 6 or 7 other anglers have installed radars on their boats. Everyone still freaking out about possible fog on launch days.

It was pretty rough this morning in Ascension. If its that bad tomorrow morning I wouldn't want to be around there when they take off. 50 boats all with 250's and 300s in south LA bayous in the fog.

Out of respect for the anglers, I'm not going to say where people are fishing, but I will tell you I saw him around 1:30 and it was nowhere close to Venice. I don't know where he came from, so he could have been anywhere and back by 1:30.
As far as radar's, Ike, Klein, and Evers all had radar yesterday. I saw a couple others, but could not make out who they were. Based on the fog I was in this morning and the warm weather expected through Sunday, I suspect number of boats with radar could climb into the double digits.

"This could be a game changer," said Skeet Reese, who joins Terry Butcher, Edwin Evers and Gary Klein as competitors who will be running the "Broadband Radar" on their boats during Classic week.

I'm not the only one with radar, though. Several of the guys — maybe five or six I think — have them down here. I'm guessing by the next Classic they'll be standard equipment for professional anglers.
