Body guard 380 is the way to go. Fits in the back pocket, perfect when you offer the "wallet surprise"
If you carry it more often because it's so small its more effective in my book.

I'd carry that fasho.

I love me some small guns. I really love small accurate guns.

I have that gun, but with the crimson laser grip. It is kind of bulky with the laser sights. It would be more concealable with a little bird head grip.

What's the recoil like on a .32 relative to .38 and .22? I've been looking at the CZ-83.

A little bit less snappy than .380. But I guess it really depends on the gun.

My dad's Colt 1903 in .32 ACP is pretty easy to shoot. Then again, his Kahr P380 is lighter, smaller, and shoots the more powerful .380 ACP.

It's all relative I guess. But I do know for a fact that the .380 is higher pressure.

How would you like to be shot in the face with it?

Don't wanna be shot in the face with a pellet gun either. Doesn't make it a good choice if I have access to a better option.

There are plenty of small (pocket size) reliable 9mm handguns available that essentially obviate the need for a .380. The Kahrs, M&P Shield, SIGs and Berettas would be options worth examining.

There is little practical difference, in terms of terminal ballistics, between a good 9mm load and a .40 S&W. But there is a huge difference in terminal ballistics between the .380 and the 9mm.

It's not a question of whether or not the .380 is lethal. It's a question of its effectiveness in incapacitating a determined attacker. We choose a CCW handgun because it's concealable, but still recognize that in 9mm, .40, .45, etc, they are very weak in comparison to a 12 or 20 gauge shotgun, or a centerfire rifle. Why handicap ourselves even further by choosing a .32 or a .380 ??

OK -- you've convinced me to try a few of these things. Now if they don't work ......................

I think you'll be pleased w/ the Remora. The standard version doesn't work all that well when tucked, in my experience. They also have a new tuckable version, although I have no experience w/ it. The Remora also works pretty good as a pocket holster.

It you're not pleased w/ the Remora, let me know; if it's the right model, I'll take it off your hands as I've been thinking about getting another one, as well.

I was just kidding about the "Now if they don't work...." If it isn't a great "fit" for me, it won't be the first.

I carry 24/7 OWB in a Comp-Tac. This looked worth trying for my BUG (Kahr PM0 and/or K9)

Is there really any reason to consider a .32? Higher caliber than a .22 but way more expensive. And the cartridge isn't even a true centerfire, is it?

i've done countless and i mean countless training measures drawing from holster, waist band, you name it with many 1911's and have never had a failure to fire due to a grip safety issue.
I'm sure you're right. I couldn't refute that it hasn't happened to you but it's one more potential issue to deal with that is unnecessary.
