I was in the gun shop last week on a couple of different occasions. 1st time just looking at some guns. They had a P2022 and a used p226. I asked the store owner about them and he said to buy the Sig. It was $550 so I did.

Later in the week I was in there again and asked about the P2022 and the glock. He said the P2022 was a very good gun and he was a Sig man but he would rather have the Glock. Then he showed me another P226 for $500 so I bought it as well.

I have cornered the market in Memphis in used P226. Both are 9mm.

Well the reason he told you to buy the glock over the p2022 if I would have to guess is because it is not as of a popular pistol and there are not as many after market parts as the glock....

No, he said that the Glock was more proven.

Well the glock is a more "proven" weapon because it has been around a lot longer. That does not make the sig any less reliable or even a lesser weapon.

I like both weapons, I plan on owning a glock but I prefer the Sigs due to the DA/SA trigger pull.

Don't know anything about the 250.
I bought a 229 used for $550, about 3 years ago and would not take that for it.
