We haven’t started the rebuild yet. We were waiting to see if any other parts would be recovered. At the beginning of the year I will also get prices from some fab shops and get the motor gone over. I will be asking for restitution in court to get the boat back to were it was. Not like any of them have a pot to piss in its just the point. I’ll keep everyone posted on the progress.
All three of their arraignments are coming in the next couple of weeks. I’ll also update with charges and what they plead.
Thanks fpr the

I hate that change. Checking out the pics

I can’t remember if we voted on that or if that was something that went down in BR. I’d like to see a picture, because a name alone isn’t doing anything.

Three guys have been arrested for the theft. Two remain in jail and the third is out on bond but has an ankle monitor on. If the others bond out they will also be wearing new jewelry until their court date. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office has been unbelievable throughout the investigation.

Bastards should spend at least two or more years in prison. Boats have a special place, like dogs. Anyone who steals a boat should go to prison.

Ole Harley got arrested again. He was passing someone else's crawfish cages while wearing his ankle monitor. The sheriff's office had him doing that 3 times and never caught him. Inept bastards.

He got caught siphoning gas out of road paving equipment under the overpass of 182 and 90. And he was wearing a pistol. I was told since he hasn't been to court he doesn't have a felony.

94k bond, yall want to go get him?

This is the fourth time he’s been arrested since they got him for our boat. He’s been having the ankle monitor the whole time. He is a damn idiot.

From what I was told he is in jail until court now. His mom has nothing left to put up and the bail bonds people weren’t going to get him out anyway.

The first main court date is March 7. I’ll keep everyone posted what happens.

I am glad you got the boat back but I would not expect too much from the court system. It won't be there fault mostly.

My boat was stolen in 2020 from the storage faculty I was keeping it stored. It was reported and thanks to TigerDroppings, was recovered within a few day. Unfortunately, the courts let the multi-offender idiots out on bail and they have dodged court dates ever since. I was told that the next time the methheads are located they will not be let out of jail.

I never expect to get anything out of it except the satisfaction of them getting put in jail.

in most cases its the only satisfaction we ever get after being ripped off.

people like that have nothing that can be taken from them so there is never any way to collect on their debts

Update:

Harly had plead guilty to the theft of my son’s boat around a month ago. He was given supervised probation where he had to meet with an officer once a month and pay me $1000.00 a month until I was paid in full. He was given 48 hours to check in at the probation office and of course he missed it and was subsequently arrested again on a probation violation.
He was in court today and had his probation revoked and sentenced to serve at least 2 years if the 10 he was given.
Now let’s hope one of the other two crackheads can keep their arse out of jail so I can at least get some restitution.

Harly is a F up. I been following your posts on FB and the DA should have never let that family be free.

Nothing worse than a frickin thief, especially on a boat, wheeler, sxs someone busted their arse for. I know they found it but odds are these scumbags will take forever to afford paying, does his insurance cover theft? Of course they stripped it, what a world. Sorry this type of stuff gets me pretty pissed.

I can tell when the whole ODB knows of them. That is what I find magical about my little area, everyone leaves their boats up and down the river and nothing gets stolen. Everyone is a nice as a can be to strangers but they also recognize and know everyone in town's boats and wheelers parked up the river and some of those outlaw old timer river rat types are local hero's as there have been some legendary errr "incidents" with them catching people trying to get in boats that they know don't belong to the person.

But I digress, these fricks owe your boy a new 2024 hull and new 2024 pro drive.

Harley at it again

I don't know how he keeps getting out of jail. I thought he would be a felon by now.

This is why... because the penalties for being a POS are minimal
