Good luck to all you guys. My dad & his buddy are @ our lease in Klondike this morning. I'll post a report after I talk to them later this morning. Unfortunately I'm stuck offshore right now...

Only 2 birds so far in Mowata. Slow morning, but hopefully they are getting stirred up.

Back at the house, We got our 4 limits and got out of there. Hopefully some teal still getting shot at will come to us early and rest today. Foods not a problem in a rice field. There were a lot less birds than I was expecting to see. Earlier in the week I had a bunch but not this morning. Heard some shooting in the area but not like we usually hear on opening day. Weird, but it is very dry.

My alarm was set for weekdays only so I didn't get up. I'm pissed.

This motherfricker just tried to set up 40 yards across from us because "we took his spot"

Update? Did he move on?

They moved down the bankline. Not far though, I could tag em with a full choke

Just struck out in the atchafalya delta. One single down and lost. Coming back empty handed only had one other group fly over.

Never seen so few ducks on any hunt down here.

Killed me the shite out of some skeeters and had to pull paw-in-law out of a ditch. We seent 2 groups of 10-15 birds with afterburners on and climbing. Nobody with us fired a shot.
