Sunday is looking a little better now that i checked the weather. Should have good tidal movement too. Plus it will keep me from going to the superdome and getting my heart ripped out

Any of you guys have a 3/4" fiberglass stake out pole you'd like to sell? Or maybe trade for a Park n Pole? I've got a power pole micro and my park n poles are a little too big.

Go buy yourself the powerpole spike at Bass Pro for 99$ and consider yourself ahead. You already got the powerpole unit for free you cheap arse lol!

I'm still trying to get rid of it though! I want to put as little as possible into it!

It's so nice now, I kind of want to keep it.

AYC was supposed to tell you to get the 3/4" 10' fiberglass rod from Graingers and call it good.

Or sell me the Power Pole unit for $200 and your worries are over.

He did. And I read that somewhere. But if I could buy a name brand anchor here for cheap or better yet, trade a park n pole for it, I was going to do it.

$200? Damn, y'all are trying to put me in the poor house.

He did add the power pole and mount. And a lowrance mount and solar charger and switch panel and led bow lights, but I paid all the title transfer fees when we traded the first time...$350.

So, while he did add a lot of money in accessories, I had significant expense (relatively) in this whole deal. I didn't get it for free, just cheap.

I had to try

Did you ever get to take the Skiff out? What did you think?

I took it out in the river once, never fished it.

It wasn't very comfortable for me, might be better suited for smaller guys. It seemed slow, even with the 6hp. I just wasn't overwhelmed by it. If poling for reds is your thing, it's probably awesome, but it's not as comfortable as a big SOT kayak. Build quality is excellent, it's super heavy duty, surprisingly so. Layout is pretty good too, lots of storage.

$45 plus $5 launch? That's a lot.

I'm just about done making modifications to this. I need a couple of different screws, washers, and bolts for the two cleats up front and the anchor trolley kit should be here by this weekend.
