Get them to line up and maybe you can get 2 or 3 in one shot.

That's what I thought, when I looked
Out my kitchen window. I counted there were about 30 when finally all
got out of the woods.

I've seen them about every time I've sat on the stand. Doesn't matter what stand I'm on. They're everywhere this year. Of course come Turkey season they'll disappear.

I've eaten a lot of game in my lifetime, but I've never had a wild turkey, so just how do they taste when compared to commercially raised birds???

I'll assume the breasts are not near as large since they are foraging for their food and not being inundated with growth hormones and I'll also assume the meat is a bit darker in color, much like a home raised chicken.

Pretty dang tasty. Kind of like fish. Fresh catch vs store bought = better tasting imo

Second that! Only had it a couple times, but it was richer and tasty.

Buddy of mine got himself one a couple years back and marinated and smoked it on a Traeger after getting back from the lease.

Idk if it was a one off, or a fantastic recipe or what, but it was a top 10 meal of my life and I am not even a turkey fan. Blew my mind.
