My current ones are the best I’ve ever owned. I discovered them when ordering stuff for an axle swap from Sky’s, supposedly made locally up there. I have the 1.5” versions. LINK

These look like they would be great for Ladder Stands

I have been using some like that for a few years to keep stuff where I want it in the bed of my truck

I have a couple and I like them. Using them as a straight tie down you can’t get nearly the tension that you do with a ratchet but they serve their purpose. I’ve seen some of the retractables and I think I’m going to try those next, looks like it will be way less of a mess to deal with!

I have one and you can't get as much tension as a ratchet strap but it works well for what it is. I recently bought some automatic retractable ratchet straps and they're a game changer. They take up a little more room in the tool box but they're super easy to use. I'm functionally regarded when it comes to using normal ratchet straps so they made my life a lot easier.
