Im going fishing next weekend around Christmas Bay/Churchill Bayou/Cold Bayou in the kayak. I was looking on TidesPro and noticed today it said it was dropping ~0.4ft in 9 minutes around 4pm, that's wild. On Saturday when I'm going to be out there it says it is dropping 0.6ft in 2 hours starting around 10am. Is it just ripping on these falling tides, or is this a mistake? Should I not be in those bayous I listed above when it happens?

When the tides falling there's only one place to fish in Chrismas bay and thats the boat cut through channel on the eastside. Post up on the tip of marsh and fish the moving water as tide falls. When its low tide thats the only deep spots in the entire bay...

That whole area is the closest water to San Luis pass, so yeah, I could see that being the case, especially Cold Pass.
