I’ve seen your threads. I’m just saying I can smell a snake 9/10 times before I see it. Moccasins stink and they are unique. I grew up wading creeks and I’m a land surveyor in FL. I see plenty of snakes. Don’t be so sensitive dude. Also please don’t educate me on what I know. Have a great day

That just means a lot of those you don’t see, don’t stink either. I’ve also encountered moccasins frequently over the last 6 decades or so. I’ve killed six in my yard since the last hurricane.
Smelling every water moccasin before you see it is an “old wives tale “.
