I actually got checked by a couple of WLF at the Leeville pier about a month ago. They were both very nice and kind to everyone out there, and one of them looked like Ron Desantis to me lol.

I got stopped on Bussey Brake fishing and didn't know you had to "check in" on Louisiana WMA website. They didn't give me a ticket, just told me to download the app and check in. Made some small talk and then went on their way, very pleasant guys.

Wrong. He cut the line on a small dead gator and left it. Big no no. Then he forgets to put a tag in another alligator. Dumb arse.

Had 2 LADWF Agents stop me last year on the access rd to our hunting lease, they got out and made small talk, asked if I was seeing anything, then wanted to see my license, that was it. Young guy and a older guy, both really nice guys, they had to do their job, then went about their business

I worked a project years ago with a bunch of guys from Pierre Part that worked for Performance.
They talked about him a lot and I never heard one bad word about him from any of them.

You’re supposed to tag it and eat the loss. Half the battle of gator hunting is getting past the small ones with tags still in your pocket.
