kinda agree with this as well
I had too many friends that went out and bought new vehicles as soon as they graduated, then regretted it a year later

Why would you pay that much for a truck with over 60k miles? I'd take neither of them.

it's not too big a problem to get a level. my parents' neighbors' son worked at cajun offroad and is my boy and did my level for $125 parts and labor.
yeah, id try and negotiate down of course, especially on truck 2 since i have to make a trip

Correct answer. You can get a brand new XLT for not much more.

If you mean "immediately", they must be doing something wrong.

You can buy a 1 year old lariat with low miles for that price as well

I had a 05 xlt through college. When I sold it the truck had 120k miles with no problems. IMO I think 30k for a 5 year old truck is too high. I would say save your money and buy new or a demo.
Posted on 5/9/14 at 12:07 pm to PapaPogey
all the 13 lariats i see are 35/36 and aboive

quote:At these prices, I wouldn't buy either. However, with a price differential of $2500 and assuming that most of the basic options are similar between the 2 trucks I would opt for #2 due to the lower mileage and 4x4
