Redwing all the way. I also have Vasque (also Redwing) hiking boots. Both are more than 10 years old and still solid, solid, solid.

Chippewa Boots, USA Made, comfortable as shite, and the manufacturer can rework them. Best work boot I've owned, and I won't buy some Imported POS

Ive gone thru a few boot phases wolverines, chippewa but I am onto timberlands now. I need a hiking boot more than a work boot and timberland pro series fit the bill. For standing on cement/steel wolverines were great.

Academy has the Georgia Mud Dog boots with the full rubber bottom. They don't have the leather Wellington that everyone has. They are really nice boots. I'm on my third pair in ten years.

I've got a pair of steel-toed Belleville boots that I was issued in the military about 8 years ago. I had them resoled a couple of years ago because I can't stand breaking in new boots and I like the quick lace setup they have. They aren't real pretty, but they get the job done.

I was saying I like the Wellington boots w/ the leather. I was just stating that Academy only has the Mud Dog boots.

I looked at some nice Georgia boots online. That's why I was wondering who carried them. I'm not ordering boots off the Internet. The Mud Dogs are not on my list. Thanks again fellas. Now I have more boot ideas than I know what to do with
