Without dreams, you have nothing. I doubt someone is willing to sell a hot hunting spot in that area when they can just lease it, though.

Requirements

1000 acres+
Pasture land for grazing
Crop land
Hardwood timber
flooded timber
backwater fishing ( sacs and bass)

Would also like midwest type genetics for whitetails, pigs, and lots of greenheads

Costa Rica?

Yep. I'm very fortunate to have been to like 90 countries, and don't take it for granted. To me, CR is my favorite besides northeast Australia (for owning land),, but that's just too far to visit frequently for me. I love the rain forest.

Do you know me or did you assume that from the snake Id thread?

My dream property would be all of sherburne. Including the south farm. That's about 40-50'000 acres I think. I dream big.

My dream property doesn't exist. It would combine the eastern part of Utah, southern Louisiana and western North Carolina. I'd have to throw a little Alabama in there somewhere for a septic pond or something.

If anyone knows of a place like this, I'll start packing.

My big purchase would be the property right down the road from me (ToulatownTiger probably knows which one), and a couple hundred acres in Missouri to go with it. Then just travel around the country on different hunts like someone mentioned earlier.

I'd buy Lookout Point in Lake Providence. 7k acres of heaven in a bend in the river- monstrous deer everywhere, great timber duck hunting, and awesome fishing from what I hear. The number of deer there is incredible. Easily the nicest hunting land I've ever seen. It was bought for 14mil about 10 years ago and is probably only valued at about 25mil now

ETA: it's the camp that Wick linked. Memberships were 350k around 4-5 years ago and now they seem to be going for over 800

I'm honestly luckily enough to say I get the chance to hunt my dream property. My grandpa was a brilliant man and has made all of this possible. I will never complain about the location I hunt, we don't have the most deer but we have quality deer and would not trade them hills for anything.

I closed on my dream piece in September. 315 acres that's is interconnected to my cousins 550 acres that we use as one piece. It is 25 minutes from my driveway and has deer, bobcats, coyotes and ducks, etc. We plan to build a camp and are going to start digging the lake to build an extensive shooting range.

If I had the opportunity I would look at two of the places I used to hunt.

My first option would be to buy my old hunting club in the hills above Cat Island. I practically grew up at that camp, I have pictures of me playing in the gravel when I was a few years old. I killed my first deer at that place. My dad always said that would be his first purchase if he won the powerball. It was a 850+ acre hardwood tract that used to have 30 members that ran dogs on it up until the early 90s. Wasn't hardly managed at all but still produced some quality deer when the river pushed them out of the swamp. Some guy with money bought the land the club was on and completely remodeled the camp. The last time I rode by they invited me in and I got to see what they had done to the place.

My second option would be some land off Pond-Ft. Adams Rd. I used to hunt the land that backed up to Clark Creek. Killed some quality deer over there, and seen the biggest deer I've ever seen too. That was the hardest (steepest) area I ever hunted, but when you shot something tracked it and got it loaded up and back to the camp it felt like you accomplished something.

A 1000 acres+ in Central Oregon near the Deschutes river and with a view of the 3 Sisters.

I could hunt mule deer, elk, bear, cougars, ducks, fly fish the many lakes and streams, and catch Salmon and Steelhead out of the Deschutes.

The amount of activities in that area year round is amazing. Throw in 300 sun shiny days a year and I'd be in heaven.

This one since it is allegedly for sale, but I'm sure I could make an offer on some others I would prefer around this tract.

1000 acres overlooking the White River between Bull Shoals and Cotter Arkansas would do me just fine.

or this. With Buy-ins at clubs like Palmyra over $900K now, you could have your own little slice of hunting heaven.

My main property would be in South Texas within an hour or two of the coast. That way, would be able to hunt hogs year round, deer, duck (would have an airboat for this), doves, turkey, varmints and illegals (kidding).
