God DAMN that's disheartening and disturbing as a young officer. And both of these officers are apparently younger than me, and I'm 33.
It's going to be hard to sleep tonight.

People will get on this very site and try to tell people that this stuff isn't going on, Twitter isn't how it really is.

This isn't protesting, this is animals that need to be put down because they have no regard for human life. I wouldn't care right now if the LAPD/LASD pulled up and sprayed everyone of those people because they care nothing about a civilized society.

Officers that aren’t ‘cut’ out for the job are the reason why the country is where it is in 2020. There should be better training, better background checks and an environment where good cops can speak on shitty behaviour that they have witnessed without fear of retaliation

We're where we are because for over 50 years people that aren't cut out to be parents are fricking like rabbits and letting the streets raise their children in order to get a government check.

I won't disparage you too much, as I'm a better person than that. And I am a person.
I will, however, pray for you. I'll pray that you wise up and see what you're being fed isn't the truth, that those people are the extreme rarity. In the same sense that my job doesn't define me, and I'm just a normal person you'd never know was an officer outside of uniform - the very rare "bad officers" are just that... bad people in uniform.
I can condemn them as much as I can condemn the criminals I arrest. But they're so rare, I have YET TO MEET ONE IN PERSON. If I HAVE met one, I sure as hell didn't realize it. What do you want us to do, join the protests and fight the other cops ourselves? Give me an example of a good officer covering for a bad one please.

These people definitely skipped brain day at the learning gym. One sense of satisfaction I get whenever these bits and pieces make their way to me is that I know it's likely reached a lot more people as well and this type of display steadily earns Trump votes. These imbeciles won't be having the last laugh. Plus, their comeuppance is most probably right around the corner, perhaps quite literally.
