Lol, those children aren't getting the money, the fiscally irresponsible parents will.

Their taxes will go up meaning less for their kids.

As long as overall bloat is trimmed down... I'm not opposed to that idea. At least it would help reduce abortions.

I'd rather my taxpayer money go to helping reduce abortions, opposed to transgender studies in a middle eastern country.

That’s entirely the point. Democrats moving swiftly to create an entirely new generation totally dependent on government and voting left.

Muh Orange Man bad.

This is what astounds me. They don't trust you to make informed decisions about your own health, but they do trust you with free money.

Now every poor piece of shite will try to have as many kids as possible to get that sweet UBI.

They can't call it UBI, but this is effectively the same thing

How about this. Have Columbia University put up a bond. If this program is successful, the feds give them $1 billion. However if in 10 years we don't have a 50% reduction in child poverty, they are liable for, oh let's say 1/3 of the cost of this program. Annually.

Let's see how confident they are in their research.

I used to be against this crap because I didn't want it to run up the national debt and my kids and grandkids have to pay for it one day. Plus, I never seem to qualify since I'm a white male with a job. But now I say frick it! There's is no way we are ever going to pay back this debt, so pass out the money and speed up this house of cards collapsing.

If they actually cared about minorities you would at least see some effort at trying to hold families together by requiring a spouse to live under the same roof.

You won’t though because all they care about is buying votes.
