Lobach also served as a White House social aide during the Biden administration, Brown said. Just last month, she escorted Ralph Lauren through the White House when he was among those awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by former President Joe Biden.
I find this aspect to be quite surprising. I mean, the odds of this would seem to be incredibly small.
It coincidences like the above that have some people strapping on their hats…

Her bio says she started in ROTC. I would bet she excelled and busted her arse and earned everything.
My heart breaks for all of their families.
The spox guy saying she is not DEI and called out Trump is wrong.
DEI and PC woke, LGBTQ, got their own divisions. Active Duty have gone on the record that all of the social engineering wastes time for readiness and training. full.stop.
She was transporting in continuation of govt. an elite job requiring skill. I will always wonder if any of them were taken from training hours for BS Lloyd Austin ordered.
Trump is correct to call out DEI. Trump has said DEI in general and they were flying off the training route.

Exactly.
People trying to make up shite to validate their beliefs. It's just not needed. shite's either true or it's not.

An actual woman can still be a DEI hire.
Hear lies the problem with DEI! You can no longer assume that someone achieved their goals through merit, and immediately have to pause and question whether that person actually has a skill to perform the job or not based on their race or sex. It's very similar to nepotism. If DEI never existed the assumption would be that she met all minimum standards or exceeded them and deserved to be there.

Im no pilot or Army Aviator but 450 hours of flight time and given the title
Of pilot-in-command seems crazy to me. Seems like a thing you’d get with 1,500 hours like the ATP cert airline pilots have.

God help this poor woman's family, the J6 types are about to move on them.
Why, what did she do to Pelosi?

Agreed but that's not what everyone was so concerned about a few days before.
Not really. And it’s disingenuous to suggest that was the real source of the complaint.
The issue that everyone agrees to is that this was a preventable tragedy of cataclysmic proportions.

Things like this situation should not be left up to the whims of mourning family members.

I would bet she didn't necessarily "excel" relative to others but was fast tracked up the ranks. It's such an obvious layup and it's like 98% likely.
No doubt she worked hard for her spot but so do a lot of folks that never get her position.

Sounds like someone who was likely fast tracked up the ranks because she's a woman.
It sounds like she worked her arse off, not that she was a DEI hire

Lobach served as an aviation officer from January 2019 to January 2025, according to the Army. She was assigned to the 12th Aviation Battalion at Ft Belvoir, Virginia, and her awards include the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.
Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Lobach enlisted in the North Carolina National Guard as a Simultaneous Membership Program cadet in December 2018 and was commissioned the following summer through her college ROTC program, said her friend 1st Lt. Samantha Brown.
Lobach was a distinguished military graduate, meaning she was in the top 20% of all ROTC cadets nationwide in her class; she was a White House social aide; and she was a gold bar recruiter for Duke University in Durham, North Carolina before she attended the Basic Officer Leader Course, Brown said.

she's a better American than the pieces of shite who plaster this board all day with a bunch of brain dead DEI conspiracies and otherwise. RIP soldier.

Good at school =/= good at flying.
Lots of guys that never went to college or earned a scintilla of her merits yet never fumbled a helicopter, including in active war zones.
Some of you are so horribly cowardly about this. More women will die because you're a coward and scared of being seen as "misogynist".

This story is everything that is wrong with DEI. She could have been an incredible soldier but everyone will always wonder if she was a product of DEI. DEI is discriminatory to those who actually earn it. If everything was based on merit no one would have to wonder if she was qualified.
Yep. The left created that dilemma.

this board was smacking its lips to find out if it was 1) a trans person or 2) a woman.
don't try to walk it back.

Why are you assuming that other (more deserving? applicants weren’t passed by.
I mean, both can be true.
