You need to reread my post.

Yes, I do believe life is sacrosanct. Everyone should. This is not rocket science. It's called humanity.

However, when one allows oneself to devalue and justify the destruction of the smallest, weakest, and/or most defenseless in our world then life has no meaning. We are seeing that in our society today. Random murders, human trafficking, etc.

Yes, I can be okay with exceptions for incest and rape. Those are entirely different scenarios, and if you are incapable of determining the difference I don't know what to tell you.

I stand by my statements.

I’m not pro choice or pro life, I don’t really give a shite. But I do think it’s really stupid how big of a deal this has become. You have people willing to vote for Kamala Harris because she’s pro choice and they don’t give a damn thing about anything else.

Like you said, there are countless ways to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. When you say you’re pro choice you’re essentially saying someone who didn’t take any of those avenues should be allowed to make up for not making a really easy decision early on. And if they’re not allowed that easy decision, then let’s raise hell.

And the people raising so much hell, 50% of them won’t ever have sex anyway. They’re all fat ugly bitches at those rallies.

So again, I’ll ask - why is the LIFE that was created by rape or incest less worthy of being protected as “the smallest, weakest and/or most defenseless”?

In alleged cases of rape and incest there should be criminal indictments to go with it.
This seems like quite the slippery slope of false rape accusations

Then make the punishment for false accusations just as strong or stronger as rape.

Women use their gender every day to hold men in relationships they dont want to be in, threatening to lie and claim they were abused.

It's time to end it and end it fast.

What do you think should be done in the instances of rape or incest?

Keep in mind, this is less than 1% of abortions.

To the OP.
This is well thought out, and well written.
Particularly in response to false accusations.
The only thing I would add is mandatory paternity testing.

One of my HS girlfriends cousins was accused. She refused testing. He served 6 years.
Not gonna say what else happened to him while doing time.
Heavy, heavy penalty for false accusations. Mandatory testing. And mandatory paternity tests.

Make it illegal. People will still get abortions regardless.

that's abortion and murder same as any other abortion. stop trying to rationalize murder. you will only being singing a different tune when judgment comes. that's how i know you know it's wrong.

Faraway, so, let me ask. In your opinion, am I killing chickens, eatting eggs? Or fish, by eatting eggs?

I do have reservations about morning after pills, due to possible long term effects on the woman tho.

AGAIN, the morning after pill- which can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected sex. It’s available for purchase over the counter. There is ZERO reason to wait.

There must be limits and restrictions.

Abortion is a billion dollar industry- not just the procedure but also the profiteering off of sold bodies and babies parts for scraps.

Anyone believing this is for the “healthcare” of women are uninformed, delusional, or both.

Save your sanctimonious nonsense.

There must be a stop point.

The reality is MURDER of babies at the moment of birth IS legal in multiple states.

Professors are advocating for “abortion” up to 30 DAYS AFTER DELIVERY.

How soulless does one have to be to find that okay?

So how are you okay with any of this? What is YOUR stopping point? When do you say “enough”?

My mother was adopted as a new born, before roe. My grandmother couldn’t have anymore children and wanted a girl.

My mother went on to be a teacher, a tax paying citizen, and gave birth to her own children that grew up to be tax paying citizens.

In today’s world she would have been murdered instead of letting a loving family raise her.

There are cases where women who are on the pill get pregnant, or men who have had vasectomies get women pregnant, or heck, even the condom breaks. By your logic of “responsibility” weren’t those people acting in that manner?

Heres a novel idea...only have sex with men who are committed to you and who would make good fathers

In response to the Republican woman thread on abortion let me say this:

It was a RINO.

1) Who cares, they are chickens
2) You probably rarely eat fertilized eggs if ever

This is dumb. The biggest red flag for a woman is one that would kill her own babies.

The right’s “hard stance” is far better than the lefts “hard stance” of murder to the moment of natural birth. Why aren’t we talking about that?

Why do we only push back against those who want to save lives and not those that want to take it?

That being said, not everyone fits the same mold.

Practically, a “rape” exception would be tantamount to an ACCUSATION of rape exception because it will take months, if not years to obtain a conviction. You can’t have that exception without strong penalties for women who make false accusations. Otherwise, you’re inviting women to make false rape claims to get a legal abortion and it will be too late to save the fetus if later proven untrue

Yep, a Democrat because I believe the same way the Republican nominee for president does.
I truly hope this was sarcasm,

Late term abortion is lunacy
I believe in exceptions
Help women temporarily post pregnancy to get back on their feet
More accountability from bad parents
Stop throwing money at welfare
Support neglected kids.
Men have more say in pregnancy and custody

I guess if that’s RINO or Democrat then I accept the title.

Lastly, I’m glad you got a dialogue going better than I did because I think we believe close to the same things. I am fiercely protective of my daughter and that has put me in the crosshairs. The way I presented things was from a mother’s perspective, I guess to emotional and not well received. I hope your thread does better opening discussions.
