I think the point with many is that they don't think they are human beings. I personally don't agree.
To try and best understand this issue, I have generally come back to two points. First of all, you aren't going to meet common ground when the two sides are talking about two different things. The pro-choice folks are talking about the woman's rights and what she can do with her body. The pro life folks are talking about the baby.
The second point is when does life begin? Good, reasonable people can have different opinions on when that is. For me personally I have no basis other than my faith. If brought into the conversation talking to others, if asked, I tell them that I don't know, so what I have done is asked myself when does life end? I think life ends when the heart stops beating. And if that is when it ends, then for me, I just turned it around and believe that it is logical that life then begins when the heart starts beating.

What I saw was closer to 20 weeks I believe. I should've been more specific to what I was describing. But don't tell me I didn't see what I saw, because I vividly have it etched in my mind. Heartbeat at 8 weeks. Nubs at 12 weeks? Ok, it's still a life.

Imagine waking up everyday with the knowledge that you murdered your child or in this things case hundreds of children. She is probably making light of it to try and absolve herself of the guilt. Making jokes about that in public is disgraceful and she is likely in need of lots of therapy at a minimum.
