So Adele says that the White Liberal Establishment whose job it is to pick Grammy winners are a bunch of racist privileged fricks that hate African American Art?

I can get on board with that.

I will say this much. They both suck, but Adelle actually has some marginal talent in that she can actually carry a tune. Beyoncé is an awful vocalist.

Still can't find where she apologized for her whiteness. Beyonce is an icon in the pop world. Seems to me like she was paying respect to someone she looks up to as an artist.

Beyonce does empower black people though. Young black girls look up to her. The fact that adele points that out doesn't mean she's apologizing for being white.

This board bitches about the left race baiting but thats what you're doing here. You're deliberately trying to stir the pot with this thread.
holy shite. I found sound logic. Bravo cito.

The last thing I thought when I heard it this morning was white privilege. Maybe it was just the respectful thing to do from one musician to another?

Maybe, if she wouldn't have gone out of her way to tell Beyoncé and the world about all her black friends.

How is it "white privilege" from Adelle if Beyoncé-herself is also part white? Wouldn't she also be "privileged"?

You're really hung up on that one comment and you are 100% twisting it to fit your narrative.

Poli board conservatives are somehow melting harder after Trump won. I am baffled.

I always liked this to show how dumbed down music is these days

I was going to come here and post this.

Adelle and Beyoncé, especially, are ENTERTAINERS. Not ARTISTS.

ARTISTS can write music and perform it. Entertainers perform. Per the example Stout provided, Beyoncé is a great ENTERTAINER. Nothing wrong with that.

Lady GaGa is an artist: classically trained pianist, can write/sing her own songs, and perform them....

Big difference.

Yep. Definitely a pathetic race baiting thread. Gross.

Revelator, you don't get to be offended at people for race baiting anymore. You're one of them.

I only watched snippets last night. Just when I thought there wasn't any dumb liberal shite. Oh well I can't escape the facts. I was foolish to think there wasn't any.
