I liked her until the mask mandate and I have nothing against using masks but I won't support anyone the erodes individual liberty.

I was at a memorial service years ago at the Capitol Bldg, talking with Governor Riley. She came up and said, " Governor, I've got a bone to pic with you" in that old southern dialect. She took his arm and walked him out of the room. She was very rude.

I hunted on land I leased from locals near where she was raised for 30 years and never heard anyone with her dialect.

Jeff Sessions doesnt even sound like her.

As Lewis Grizzard would say, she sounds like a damn yankee trying to sound southern.

Theres a video on youtube of her best friend she grew up with and even she dont sound like her.

I’m from that part of state. A little south of Camden. Many people her age have the same dialect. It is less common among those, say, 60 and younger.

But, it’s fairly heavily represented by the rest who probably spent a significant portion of their formative years without a television.

86 is correct. It's a dialect that's almost instinct.

Roy Moore got removed from office twice by Republican led courts. He refused to abide by the law, and the court's direction.

What dumbass would elect him a third time?

Considering that the previous governor was a lecherous doctor only elected because he used to treat Bear Bryant, that figures.

Not that we are doing much better with an inbred sloth getting two terms.

He was removed twice for doing his job and adhering to an Originalist interpretation of the United States Constitution and bucking illegal rulings that directly opposed that.

You cheer that and then from the other side of your mouth, I’m sure, claim to be a conservative and that you want Originalist justices on Courts.

Which is it?

What kind of dumbass cuck demands Originalist justices and then slams justices for adhering to an Originalist interpretation and saying they should have been kicked out of office for the same?

Let’s face it. You and most others like you can’t even define conservatism, let alone Originalism or Strict Constructionism.

So, sit the frick down.

Easy, old man. You'll blow an artery.

I'll bet you got a hard-on when Moore rode up on his pony with his little cowboy hat on and brandished his little .22 revolver.

That’s all you got? That was your response? A deflection about penises (“hard-on”)?

What a pussy little bitch with a gay inclination for imagining hard cocks you are, boy.

The stench around Luther Strange being put into that seat was enough to kill his chances in the election and the attack campaign they waged against Mo Brooks left Moore an open road to the nomination.

Exactly that. My dad was really active in the Republican party until his health started getting bad. The Montgomery county Republicans had a candidate forum and after they spoke there was a straw poll. Mo Brooks won easily. This was in a part of the state where he doesn't have a particularly strong base. It wasn't long after that when Mitch McConnell released a bunch of money for Luther Strange to use on attack ads against Mo.

Great! You're the reason why Doug Jones is in the Senate.

They have more govnuh’s in jail and more that are flat incompetent. MeeMaw is laughable but lovable. She just doesn’t inspire much confidence

A leftist's opinion on which Republican is a "good" candidate is basically garbage. In fact, I would actually go for the candidate you claim is "shite" if I was making a choice and wasn't familiar with either candidate.

This! As much as I didn't car for Moore's tactics and baggage and all...he was still a reliable vote for the right side of the ledger and we see how important one vote in the Senate was with JMac's sorry arse. This is the same thing I preached with Trump in 2016, we have to look at the big picture...the SCOTUS nominees ALONE was enough to not even consider HRC, even for Never Trumper idiots who would rather have had that wretch as a POTUS than Trump. Same applies to Moore, might not care for a lot of hi baggage but I will be damned if he was going to cast a wrong vote on a key issue. That's what matters...I don't want to see how the bacon is made, just cook it and throw it on my hamburger. Don't toss me a turd like Jones and expect me to enjoy that shite sandwich!
