My sons grandma (my ex wife’s mom, no pics of either) fully vaxxed for a couple of weeks now. She was diagnosed with Covid last Monday…

We thought my daughter had COVID in January. Went to Urgent Care and tested negative. She wasn’t tested for the flu. They told her she had a viral infection and he treated it like it was the flu.
A lot of the kids in her school and other people in the area had “viral Infections” in Dec-Feb.
This year I don’t think doctors were testing for the flu as much as they have in the past 40+ years.

The word asymptomatic is a medical term, meaning without symptoms. The word asymptotic is a math term of some sort.
I normally am not a grammar Nazi but this incorrect word usage has bugged me for over a year now. I am a retired medical transcriptionist.
