I don’t know, man. America’s survived an actual Civil War far heavier than the LARPing we see today. We rebounded from all the turmoil in the 60s... I know things are bad and the outlook is grim, but I believe America can come back.

It could if we just became honest with each other.
Liberals need Conservatives.
Conservatives need liberals.
Both have strengths and weaknesses and psychology has proven this(Jordan Peterson does a great explaination).
People who are artistic, open to new ideas, dreamers, emotion based, people oriented, and entrepreneurs are usually more liberal. They are the creative side. It is why most musicians and Hollywood are very left leaning.
Conservatives are generally more detail oriented, structured, disciplined, individualist and rely more on logical analysis.
BOTH sides have strengths. Both have weaknesses. If you COMBINE the strengths, you get an amazing society with constant growth and ingenuity.
Liberals form the ideas, Conservatives implement them effectively and work out how it is done. It has been proven over and over Conservatives are better managers, liberals better creators.
If we finally grow up and realize the other is simply different..we can work on improving a ton. The issue is we do not do that. I would argue the left has been far more unreasonable at finding middle ground for a few years. They have let far left become to voice.

We are looking more & more like the Middle East everyday. SMH, a great number of our citizens have been radicalized by Social Media & MSM.

Appreciate the thoughts and the make me yearn for a better time. Unfortunately there's no good reason to think harmony is in our future. Whereas those differences you list are complementary / beneficial, now our differences are detrimental, and vastly more detrimental to conservatives. The mechanisms of the liberals are set up to latch and expand radicalism, not to moderate it.
1. Most conservatives denounce the violence on the Capitol. Liberals applauded the Antifa/BLM violence of late and won't concede it was wrong.
2. Tyranny of thought. You can lose your job over saying the phrase "all lives matter". They censor our speech in bipartisan spaces so we resort to a partisan space then they shut that down. Even Europeans are criticizing the move - let that sink in
3. We're "anti-science" for being skeptical of science that's obviously politicized. Only a gullible fool doesn't believe that Big Pharma dictates to a large portion what gets published in scientific journals. Just one example.
4. Our own politicians don't stand up for our principles
Long story short the left enjoys state sanctioned support for liberal violence while we get to enjoy persecution by our employers for defending conservative principles.
In short the left could give a rip what we believe. They're very open - they're not interested in compromise any more.
We're tired of the clown world / virtue signaling / hypocritical / judgmental left. I'm personally tired of people living in places where syringes and feces are piling up in the streets telling me what I'm supposed to believe and how I should live.
No love lost. It was good while it lasted, rough at the end. We went to the moon together, literally. But now we can cling to a failed and irreconcilable relationship because it's comfortable or we can separate and spend the rest of our lives happy again. After all, many of us are white males, and in the words of the left we're a large threat, so they're better off without us anyway

I know Hollywood, NBA, NFL and every "private" organization who crammed whitey is bad down my throat all year can suck a dick and I will not forget. They want to play the game I can, may be a small part in grand scheme of things but enough of people like me and it will start to add up. I have my lists of who to boycott
