Trump playing this all wrong.
I love him more for what he did to politics and the press than I do for what he did as a president. This type of behavior is bad for politics and he is asking for this to be spun out of control with the media.
If you support Trump, chances are you support Desantis. Creating a divide at this juncture is fricking stupid, for many reasons. Hurts both of their chances in 2024.

Outside of the Trumps, Pauls, and Thomas I basically don’t trust any of them. They have shown political courage very few have.
Desantis has potential, but is still an unknown. The elite have showed their hand on how corrupt they are. The establishment jumping behind Desantis should be worrisome.
The country seems to have learned nothing and is ready to just fall back under the complete influence of the government. We need the system turned upside down and given back to an American People First perspective. Bring back the sense of pride in America and common sense. The current government is just corruption.

TBH I'm looking for the angles here, but even if he had some bomb to drop on DeSantis or something, this is a completely ridiculous way to do it that will make him look pathetic in the interim.
Thinking like Trump thinks, he makes a fool of himself, creates a buzz/story, the media goes nuts, and then with all eyes on him he drops the bomb. That's the only thing that would make any sense to me, but certainly seems like Trump could set that up without looking like a complete reeeeeeeeee! psychopath. And I highly doubt there is any payoff coming at the end of this meltdown unless Ron reacts.

Yeah, it's so crazy that I'm hoping it's 4D chess or WWE theater. But, I don't think so. I think he sees the GOPe circling the wagons for Ron and is willing to burn it all down.
