Any highschool educated individual coulda made that call.

Tariffs must be activated with an act of Congress to be legal.

He tried. He failed. He may try another route. Who knows.

To help stop drugs from crossing their borders and to bring back manufacturing in their country.

Duh! Everybody knows that.

You are stupid enough to believe the US economy could solely exist as a service economy with little to no manufacturing. Of course you also believe immigration doesn’t have an impact on debt

Net loss due to illegals no longer being employed. As long as citizens took the jobs that illegals vacated, I am good with the net loss

But to specifically address the point of the post you answered(which you did not even come close to addressing), domestic steel production rose over 3.5% last year. That increase came with jobs and let us not forget, it was industries, like steel, that built the middle class.

The tariffs will remain. Nothing will change due to today's ruling.

There are other statutes under which the tariffs may be applied/maintained.

So why won't he just use the legal route?

Tariffs were killing a lot of jobs. Costs went up for companies that make products rather than parts.

Aluminum is much more expensive in the US. More cost efficient to amke aluminum parts elsewhere and ship them in.

No need I already know the answer, and if I have the opitunity to ask Trump that question I wouldn't get the truth anyway, the end means to every move Trump makes has one main goal, one untimate objective, and it's working for him, his family and his wealthy friends in spades, for the rest of us, not so much.

Why do you have a problem with any of that? Isn't that what governments have done since they were "invented"?

Tariffs, if done correctly, are not bad. What is bad is all the other revenue generating ideas that came after. I have zero issues with tariffs. I have major issues with other taxes placed upon me.

People who support Trump seem to think he can use other avenues. We will see.

This is simply another attempt to slow down Trump’s continued winning!!!
