Yet leftists that frequent this site have not done so by-in-large (4/19 including you).

In short, I would not be surprised if you were in the extreme minority of Dems with your sane viewpoint on this issue.

As a simple example- what view would be acceptable for open borders in the south? What well reasoned explanation for outright violation of our current laws ?

I would consider myself to be a more of a "common sense" MAGA type.
We could do less with the Liberal vs, Conservative stuff, IMHO. As long as you aren't a Communist, Fascist, Marxist type.

I’m against abortion, they are for it.
I’m against just letting anyone into the country, they are for it.
I want to keep taxes low, they don’t.
I want to move away from being the world’s police, they don’t.
I think mandating green initiatives is dumb and raises the cost of living on the middle class, they want depopulation.
I don’t think the government should regulate speech. They are fine with it as long as it’s someone they don’t like.
They are also against the 2nd amendment.
We shouldn’t be bailing out people who took out loans, they think it’s perfectly fine to rob the tax payer.
