There are whackos in all Religion, but there is no way that a mainstream Christian Church backs segregation. And there is plenty of room for Christians to wise up. They pay dearly - in Spirit - for Idolotry ("the worship of things made with hands") - but a lot are learning, and moving on.
You'll like this place, TP; what one would expect in the SEC. But you'll need to polish up your game.

I agree that you are trying WAY too hard.
Look I hate Prosperity Theology as much as the next guy, and I don't have much room for religious sanctimony in any of it's forms, but that brush you are painting with is as broad as Tejas, Pete.

It's easy to say don't judge Christians by the flawed ones....but when 95% of self identifying Christians in our country are a joke it's hard not to paint them all with a broad brush.

I can't come up for a metaphor for how Christians are treated today. Maybe how Catholics were treated in the 70s in the non-LA south.

That's not true. Duck Dynasty got suspended for a couple weeks and Sarah Palin get's made fun of by SNL. That is on par with the holocaust.

are the conservatives/Christians the new jew? In my life, I have never seen so much hate towards conservatives nor Christians. Most of the media is anti conservative and Christian. The government, under this administration has targeted conservatives and christians using different agencies. Anti Obama film maker was investigated and then arrested. Christian organizations now listed as hate groups. Are we now what the Jews were to the nazis? Are we getting close to that?
